Erin exuded positivity and always made her friends and family feel seen. The gift she was giving to all was empowerment. The Erin Levitas Foundation continues to champion empowering young people. When you build confidence and leadership skills in young people, you create a safe space for them to grow and connect. Studies have shown that there are links between the status of self-esteem and sexual violence.
The cards you see above were written by youth at community outreach events as part of an ELF activity asking them to write something that they wish they knew when they were younger - they all wrote empowering words.
This year's funds will support prevention resources and community outreach, sparking many families' first prevention conversations.
